Our goal is to be a design resource when you need it, whether for a single decision or for a more involved project.  We want to be your 'first responder' when you have a design dilemma! To that end, we strive to be flexible and helpful, and, when needed, point you toward additional resources for help with your project. 

The consultation fees below describe typical project scenarios. If you have a need that overlaps several of these categories, we can work around them.  So just give us a call (or send an email) to ask. 

Payments are expected at the time of service, and a trip charge may apply for locations more than 30 minutes from downtown Raleigh.

Color Consultation

Prior to the consultation, we will discuss your goals and estimate the time it will take to accomplish them.  Factors that influence this will be (1) the number of rooms in question; and (2) whether you are starting from square one with color selection or have already narrowed your choices.

- 2 hour consultation fee: $150 
- "Just-in-time" 1 hour consultation fee:  $100
- Additional time billed at $75/hour

Staging Consultation

The cost of services will vary, depending on the condition and size of your house.  The Initial Staging consultation fee is for an average house (under 2500 sq. ft.) in reasonable condition.  We will walk through your home and discuss the areas that need rearranging, updating, repair, removal, etc.  You are encouraged to take notes!  

- Initial Staging Consultation (approx. 1.5 hours): $150
- Additional time billed at $75/hour

• You may elect to add a written, detailed Staging Report ($125-$250 depending on size of the house) of what must be done, room by room, to get the home sale ready.

• NOTE: Hands-on staging, where we roll up our sleeves and start moving items is a separate, optional service.

Redesign Consultation

Initial consultation (up to 1 hour): $75.  During this time we discuss design goals and decide on next steps.  If we proceed with redesign, the $75 applies to the project cost which typically starts around $350 and goes up depending on the project scope.
