BEDROOM
This room
needed a quick turnaround, so we:
-
Purchased a bargain bed-in-a-bag set, inexpensive framed
pictures and lamp
-
Borrowed decorative pillows from her sister
-
Brought a dining room chair, throw and side table from
other rooms in the house.
Then, we
turned on the lights. Voila! Now buyers know this
room can be cozy and inviting -- no leaving it up to their
imaginations! |

BATH

This bath was in good condition, but was not very
attractive.
We made
it
more
stylish by:
-
Removing
the clutter (and kitty litter)
-
Placing a basket of spa items on the vanity
-
Hanging a couple of art pieces
-
Adding
a palm and white towels to the table by the window
-
Opening
the blinds and turning on the lights.
Now it's
easy for buyers to imagine themselves relaxing in this
spa-like master bath!

STUDY

The homeowner intentionally kept this office dark, both to
reduce glare on his monitor and to protect the antique rug.
Over time, his shelves had become a catch-all for
miscellaneous items. The solution:
-
Decluttered the shelves,
and repositioned books and decorative items
-
Removed or hid phone and
computer cords
-
Cleared the desk
-
Opened the windows
-
Replaced the worn office
chair with a wooden chair to complement the wood desk
Without adding a thing to the
room, it now looks inviting and showcases the excellent
shelving and great window views! |

LIVING ROOM

In this space, there was minimal
clutter, but the furniture arrangement made it feel more
like a pass-thru from the foyer to the den than a
conversation area.
-
We moved the sofa to face the
fireplace, thereby balancing these two large elements.
-
The now available window space
could now hold a console and
accessories.
-
The chairs were angled to
complete the conversation area, and greenery was added to
soften the look.
This arrangement fosters a
more intimate gathering -- all without buying a thing!
